Senior Bookeeper - Prospecton at Stratogo

Minimum Qualifications:

• Matric
• Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping
• Minimum 7 yrs + exp as a Bookkeeper
• Pastel experience - Compulsory

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reconciling bank statements and accounting records with internal controls
• Reviewing financial data for accuracy and verifying that transactions have been recorded accurately
• Reconciling accounts payable ledgers and accounts receivable ledgers
• Calculating payroll deductions and filing required tax forms 
• Preparing reports on financial performance for management purposes
• Preparing monthly invoices for services provided by outside vendors.
• Analyzing historical data to identify trends and other information that can be used to improve business operations
• Monitoring cash flow to ensure that the business has enough money to meet operating expenses
• Preparing monthly payroll
• Debtors and creditors
