    Senior Brand Manager

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Senior Brand Manager to be based at the Rosebank offices.   The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Manager.   The successful incumbent will be responsible to reignite the love for the Harvestime brand, with consumers and internal stakeholders, in order to achieve the growth, GP and market share which is aligned to business objectives. In addition to effectively implement and maintain the private label portfolio, as per the contractual retailer agreements, together with the internal sales team. The core purpose of the role is to help identify opportunities for improved brand experience in the vegetables and meals category and to support the business demands for digital brand and innovation experience. This will involve the definition, development and management of innovation pipeline from a brand perspective across the portfolio, with responsibility for supporting the execution of the brand plans in digital channel across the customer lifecycle to ensure it is aligned to organisational and global strategy.

    Purpose of the Job:

    • Achieve business performance with regards to net sales, GP and Volume

    • Manage budget and marketing spend on Harvestime

    • Marketing and commercial planning and execution

    • Marketing and communication planning

    • Drive and maintain private label business

    • Innovation and product portfolio management

    • Assist in drive consumer centric innovative propositions, manage digital communications development

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum experience/knowledge:

    • 3 Year tertiary qualification – preferably in Marketing or Business Management

    • Min 5 years’ experience at Assistant Product/Assistant-Brand Manager level or 1 year as a Brand Manager(FMCG required)

    • Data analysis and interpretation with insight driven recommendations ( essential) i.e. Nielsen Data, ex-Factory Data and Consumer Data

    • Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, and Word)

    • Valid SA drivers License
