    Senior Business Analyst

    Job Description

    • FEM is looking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst at our Head Office. The successful candidate will serve as the structured interface between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
    • The role is responsible for identifying business needs, analysing processes and controls, defining and managing requirements, evaluating solution options, and supporting implementation and benefits realisation.
    • The successful candidate will ensure that proposed changes are practical, traceable, risk-aware, compliant with applicable obligations, and aligned with FEM's strategic and operational objectives.
    • They will be expected to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, facilitate workshops, support solution design and implementation activities, and drive continuous business process improvement across the organisation.

    The following skills and experience will be required:

    Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management

    • Requirements elicitation, analysis and management
    • Business process modelling and optimisation
    • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
    • Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering
    • Business case development and solution evaluation
    • Gap analysis and impact assessment
    • Benefits realisation and change support

    Technical & Delivery Support

    • Experience supporting software development and implementation initiatives
    • Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and support
    • Solution analysis and validation
    • Data, regulatory, risk and control requirements analysis
    • Requirements traceability and documentation

    Other Skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups
    • Strong planning, organisation and documentation skills
    • Attention to detail and governance awareness
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • The minimum requirements of the position are a relevant degree or diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Commerce, Computer Science or a related field, together with a minimum of eight years' relevant business analysis experience, preferably including complex systems implementation or transformation initiatives
    • Recognised business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or equivalent will be advantageous. Experience within the insurance or financial services industry will be highly advantageous.
