Job Purpose:
Responsible to use data to answer key business questions while building systems to assist our leaders with data to support organizational effectiveness. Develop repeatable reporting and analytics that can be used by the entire organization. To provide the next level of business analytics by driving automated insights and analysis deeper into the organization.
Responsibilities

Deliver Insights and Business Intelligence

• Design, development, implementation, management and support of mission-critical enterprise BI reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments.
• Own the BI requirements for Blue Label Distribution, the understanding of how they relate to company data, and how they translate into reports and dashboards used by all departments
• Lead the full report development life cycle, including working with the customer to gather and document business analytics requirements including data, layout, and delivery requirements.
• Efficiently manage multiple demands and data requests from a varied level of business users
• Translate business problems and use cases into requirements for data and analytical constructs.
• Analyse data and analytics processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage and consult with business users and management on business procedures and policies.
• Design new data and analytics processes.
• Overhaul and transform legacy Excel reports and seek to automate and leverage BI Tools when possible.
• Create and maintain systems that leverage BI and big data analytics technologies.
• Work with internal departments to identify and deliver reporting needs.
• Effectively document and communicate results.
• Provide additional insight and analysis beyond initial project requirements
• Evaluate future sales performance against current sales performance
• Develop reporting on BI tools
• In depth analysis of market segments and forecasting

Data Management

• Establish and maintain data and analytics constructs.
• Ensure data integrity across all performance-based metrics and reporting.
• Establish and oversee data validation processes, documentation of reports and data definitions.
• Ensure best practices within the business is utilised to ensure integrity of master data.
• Completeness and correctness of data and subsequent reporting and reconciliations.
• Reconciling source data to management accounts.
• Prioritization of requests.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce
• Microsoft BI Tools and visualization tools
• Agile certification and experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business and data analysis, solutions design, testing and data modeling
