KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Source consumables from the best supplier at the best price in line with policies and guidelines and support the following key KPA’s:-

• Support suppliers induction, use of correct PPE, etc.
• Ensure suppliers quality of service and product purchased by TSAM
• Ensure quality of service to internal customers, user department, on time purchases and effective communication with the plant and the suppliers.
• Ensure all work is conducted in line with policies and guidelines, ensuring zero audit findings
• Ensure all APRs are completed on time aligned to budget & support the budget creation process.
• Challenge commodities cost & PEF cost through benchmarking and negotiation.
• Conduct tender process and develop tender documents, where applicable
• Ensure timeously delivery of goods to TSAM by suppliers and support the plant with delivery problems
• Promote Supplier Development to improve BBBEE scorecard.
• Sourcing of new BO/BWO EME’s & QSE’s suppliers to enhance supplier base.
• Ensure that all BBBEE certificates are updated and submitted to the transformation team.
• MSDS and SoC tracking for key suppliers.
• Ensure all TSAM suppliers comply with ISO 14001:2015, aligned to the GPG.
• Carry-out Ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned e.g. Admin duties/ special projects/ mgmt. presentation preparation etc.
• Conduct periodic supplier mgmt. meetings and visits.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum NQF6 (Commercial)
• Minimum 3 years purchasing experience
• Computer Literacy, Microsoft Systems (Intermediate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP experience)
