Senior Consultant (Business Sustainability) at Forvis Mazars Group

Role Purpose

An opportunity exists in the Business Sustainability Division of Mazars; an international professional services firm, based at Mazars House in beautiful Century City, Cape Town.

You will be a part of a dynamic team who provides comprehensive sustainability solutions and services which inspire and enable our customers to create value from sustainability-related activities.

Your main purpose will be to consult to clients on the sustainability strategy regarding their business optimization, social equity and environmental analysis.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of high quality consultancy reports on business sustainability solutions
• Facilitate strategy sessions at C-Suite level
• Develop proposals and take an active role in the business development activities
• Support in the further development of our advisory/consulting offering
• Team and project management essential
• Willingness to train to be an accredited Carbon Footprint Analyst
• Execution of social sustainability solutions through skills development innovative solution
• Pragmatic business solutions

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification
• Knowledge of the GRI Standards an added advantage
• Fast learner
• Proven consulting background
• Self-starter and team player
• Good business developer with a good network within the business sustainability sector in South Africa
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role
• Proven ability to manage people and clients
• Excellent technical ability on business transformation
