The Senior Consultant Group Schemes role based within Vodacom Financial Services.

In order to effectively operationalize the administration of Group Schemes we require the skills of a group schemes specialist to facilitate the following functions

• Creates pay points for new schemes
• Loading of monthly data for new and existing schemes
• Effect changes of benefit structures
• Actively involved with new product set up on the MIP system
• Test and signoff schemes once set up on the MIP system
• Runs bulk data imports
• Receipting and collections process per scheme
• Premium allocation of collected premiums on member level
• Daily management of debit orders, payments and rejections

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Creates a pay point to existing master schemes
• Loading of monthly data for new and existing schemes
• Tests and sign off on scheme/Product set up rules
• Effects changes of benefit structure on existing schemes
• Runs Monthend processes as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures
• Actively involved with new product setup
• Runs bulk imports/cancellations
• Daily management of debit orders, payments and rejections

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• 2-4 years Group Schemes administration experience
• Expert level understanding of benefits offered in the risk benefits portfolio eg. Death , disability , PHI , Critical Illness , Funeral
• Must have strong organisational awareness in order to anticipate the impact of actions on other groups

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

• Matric Certificate
• FAIS RE 5 professional Qualification
• Computer literacy ( Advanced word and Excel)
