Senior Credit Controller AKPH at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of customer collection targets, essential to the profitability of the Hospital. The Senior Credit Controller will also be responsible for managing overdue accounts.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

•  Process all new accounts.  Strong Reconciliation skill of accounts and remittance advices  Ensure that new accounts are credit worthy.  Ensure all credit applications have been authorized by the Credit Control Manager.  Assist Credit Controllers in prioritizing key daily work and monthly tasks  Supervise all activities within the credit control team and make decisions on issues that will benefit the business  Provide training and assistance on SAP and Medical Aid Portals.  Conduct orientation for the new staff members  Log BT Support tickets on behalf of the credit control team.  Ensure the credit control team logs alerts daily  Acting as a Credit Control Manager in the absence of the Credit Control Manager  Send communication to patients.  Ensure that all new and existing customer accounts are paid as per Group Policy.  Assist in the setting up of the credit control system for the Hospital.  Assist with final authorization of Managed Care patient files.  Ensure correct coding for all Managed Care Organization patients.  Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner by patients.  Maintain accurate records of all account matters.

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
• A Financial Diploma would be advantageous
• 3 years administrative clerical experience in a hospital environment
• Working knowledge of Excel
• SAP knowledge would be advantageous
