Job Description

• PBT is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a dynamic team working on strategic data initiatives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong business engagement skills, deep data analysis expertise, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights and documentation. This role requires close collaboration with developers, business stakeholders, and data teams to ensure high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document data requirements.
• Conduct in-depth data profiling and analysis to support business needs.
• Translate business requirements into Source to Target Mapping (SSTM) documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to define transformation rules and ensure alignment with business logic.
• Validate and test Power BI reports against specifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to data pipelines and data quality.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.
• Present findings and insights through clear, concise reports and presentations.
• Support data model alignment and reference data mapping in collaboration with Data Modelers.
• Identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data usability and integrity.
• Stay informed on new data assets, tools, and trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Power BI for report validation and testing.
• Demonstrated experience with Source to Target Mapping (SSTM) and formal documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise data models and metadata management.
• Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks.
