Senior Data Engineer at CloudStream Global

Role Summary:

• You will lead the Data Engineering function for the Cape Town office, working as the sole Data Engineer locally in an Engineering team of 10 people strong. Total office size locally is about 40. You will comfortable with at least one programming language preferably Python, Java, Ruby or similar. They are entirely cloud-based using Amazon Web Services – so you will have previously worked with AWS, Azure or GCP. You will enjoy working with and creating data pipelines and related infrastructure In terms of remuneration, they are global and look after their employees very well. The most important thing to them is finding the best technical talent to join their team. Although they are a very well established startup they still have a super cool start up vibe, they can offer flexibility and the opportunity to travel to their London offices too.
