Develop Technical competence in: 10% SSIS to be able to extract, transform and load information
SSAS for the development of cubes.
Any other Microsoft Software deemed necessary for reporting
Apply all IT requirements in terms of:
5% Database access policies
Deployment requirements
Development lifecycle policies
Development Requirements 45%
Own and manage DMC Owned Asset contract import process, including preparation of data and recommendations for improving availability of dataPreparation of all data import and processing for the DMC Owned Asset pricing process
Develop and maintain live packages to be used in the DMC operational collections including but not limited to:
Communication, Interpersonal Relationships & Leading the Team5%
Develop and Maintain a good relationship with all business units within and outside of DMC
Develop and Maintain open communication with all business units within and outside of DMC
Develop and Maintain trust, open communication and a good relationship with the team
Guiding the team to Live the DMC values on a daily basis
Manage regular feedback between business and team on projects/tasks
To perform any other functions over and above the ones listed as requested by Management
Requirements
Relevant Tertiary qualification i.e.. Degree/ Diploma/ Microsoft MCSD/ MCSE.
Min 5 years experience in Microsoft SQL Server and MS Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
Min 2 years experience in supervising/ managing a team or proven performance as a Data Analyst (taking on extra responsibility, continuously delivering above expectation). Good communication and interpersonal skills.
