Owning and guiding the Yuppiechef brand’s visual identity
Leading the conceptual creative thinking for marketing campaigns – mostly in social media, display, digital video, print, store windows and in-store, though we’re always looking for new channel opportunities
Empathetically managing and growing a design team capable of technically executing your concepts – allocating projects between you and them, and ensuring they’re on track
Art directing and styling internal campaign shoots
What are the requirements?
You’ll need to have had 7-10 years’ experience as a designer, including at least 1-2 years of management experience
A world-class portfolio that demonstrates the level of skill and experience required for this role
2+ years’ experience working in an ad agency would be a big help in working with creative briefs, and showing collaborative skills, working with writers, photographers, etc
Work experience with omnichannel retailers would be a benefit
You’ll need to be a skilled user of Adobe creative suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign – and be confident enough to train and grow mid-level designers. Video editing skills would be beneficial.
Ideally, you’ll have a tertiary qualification in graphic design from an accredited art/design school
