Senior Developer (AWS) at Games Global

The role:

We are seeking a talented and seasoned Senior Developer with expert AWS cloud knowledge and IAC using Terraform and EKS. Our company specializes in developing cutting-edge solutions and delivering innovative software products to clients worldwide. What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and services leveraging Docker, AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, and product owners, to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and secure solutions.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on AWS EKS clusters.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Drive the implementation and improvement of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, incorporating best practices and automation tools.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for enhancing the development process and suggesting improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Developer, with a strong focus on Docker, AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Proven expertise in architecting, deploying, and managing applications on AWS using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS and Cloudflare.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practical experience with Terraform or other similar tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
