Establish and implement server infrastructure best practices.
Create/maintain server operating systems, primarily Windows 2012 and CentOS (Linux), on physical and virtual platforms. (Local and Offsite)
Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
Manage existing storage systems and management tools. Recommend new solutions that can make the team more efficient.
Maintain web servers, databases, networks, new installations, migrations, and security within our VDC environments

Extensive experience with Linux & .Net Web Hosting Environment. This can be either in the development or sysadmin
Developing and maintaining Web hosting infrastructure
Strong experience with MS SQL and MySQL (MariaDB and MongoDB)
Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration understanding PHP and Apache this includes IIS web environment
Collaborate with developers in DevOps, in other teams and the QA team to do website deployment from QA environment to Live environment.
Who you are:
5+ years’ combined experience working in IT environment understating and implementation of the below fundamentals.
5+ years with a successful track record in Linux and IIS Web hosting support
2+ years with a successful track record in Virtualisation & Cloud Computing
Grade 12
Linux CentOs & RedHat (Sysadmin Support)
ICT or Computer Science degree/diploma
Basic understanding of Pointing DNS for websites and renewing website certificates
