Execute short and long-term strategic plans for clients aligned to Visa's SA market strategy
Develop and execute a set of objectives and goals for assigned clients to increase Visa and client's sales volume and therefore revenue
Contribute to design and implementation of country strategy, by developing insights of client and market needs and advising on appropriate strategic and tactical responses
Understand and clearly articulate how Visa's new payment tools and technologies will drive commercial value to our clients
Follow global industry and local market trends, to package relevant insights and solutions to Visa's clients
Identify, size and close new business opportunities by analyzing client's market positioning, product profile and strategy, enabling Visa's functional teams to customise relevant solutions to fit identified needs
Work with clients and Visa functional teams on ways to maximize profitability by offering advice on the development of target markets, product development, analytics and relevant best practice
Evaluate competitive actions with respect to the local market and recommend appropriate action
Qualifications
Minimum of Honours Degree required with focus on financial management, accounting, business strategy and/or economics.
Experience Required
6+ years of professional experience in retail or transactional banking. Direct card experience strongly preferred.Ability to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
Ability to demonstrate sound business judgment with long-term view
Strong analytical skills (ability to derive insight from data)
