We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draughtsman to join our team. The Senior Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to lead a team of draughtsmen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and complete drawings.
Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
Lead a team of draughtsmen, providing guidance and support to ensure quality and timely delivery of drawings.
Keep up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in drafting technology.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into drawings.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and estimates.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the construction industry.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
SKILLS:
Strong understanding of construction processes and building codes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
