Altron Netstar requires a Senior Electronic Engineer who will be reponsible for Firmware software development of GSM & GPS imbedded experience (not hardware) – (Also not limited to Vehicle tracking systems, can look at any electronic meters (imbedded)

Key Responsibilities;

• The design, development, qualification and implementation of Firmware/hardware for general electronic products such as GSM/GPS telematics units.
•  Technical support of products and systems to manufacturing, vendors, technology partner’s installation centres, customers etc.
•  Project management and technical liaison with external development partners.
•  Research and development of new technologies to be used by the development team.

Qualification, Skills and Experience;

• Electronic Degree
• Firmware Experience & Skills
• 5 to 7 years of Electronics Experience
• 3 to 5 years of Embedded C Experience
• Embedded Hardware and Microcontroller Experience

Preferred Experience;

• C# programming
• Altium Designer for PCB’s experience
• Automotive electronics experience
• RF experience
• GSM and GPS experience
• MATLAB and similar CAD packages
