    Senior Finance Analyst MENA

    Job Description

    This position is a value adding partner to all the functions across CHEP Middle East & North Africa; our Commercial, Supply Chain & Asset Management teams in addition to supporting the Regional Finance Manager and Country General Manager. The position is responsible for driving and executing all finance related activities within the MENA business, including but not limited to Customer Pricing & Profitability Analysis, Budgets & Forecasts, Monthly Reporting, Financial Analysis of Projects, and Other Business Support as required. The position will focus on delivery of financial performance targets, whilst partnering with the wider MENA business and Central Finance Functions.

    Key Accountabilities

    Customer Pricing & Profitability Analysis:

    • Support the MENA team by delivering analysis of new and existing business opportunities – understanding the impacts on our supply chain cost base to effectively understand implications and translate those into business and financial impacts.
    • Safeguard and maintain CHEP pricing models and policies, keeping them up to date for our market, to support the modelling and costing of commercial data for specific business prospects

    Budgets, Forecasts & Monthly Reporting:

    • Responsible for the delivery of the monthly financial performance, ensuring accuracy of financials (P&L and Cashflow), with analysis and completion of management review packs conforming to service level standards, within the group reporting timelines.
    • Drives the delivery and execution of internal reporting deliverables, pertaining to budgets, quarter end forecasts, flash reports & strategic plan reporting.

    Projects & Other Business Support:

    • Manage the financial performance tracking for key transformation initiatives in the MENA region. Ensuring financial accuracy and independent challenge.
    • Lead the preparation, planning and implementation of the commercial projects, to include business case, implementation plan, project management and reporting..

    Experience & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Honours in Finance/Accounting or in a relevant finance technical discipline.
    • Management Accountant Qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
    • Strong experience in driving Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting within a large multinational.
    • Strong experience with constructing Business Performance Review / Management Reporting
    • Experience of Business Partnering Commercial & Supply Chain functions.
    • Development of Dashboards and reporting using advanced MS Excel
    • Proficiency in data manipulation, interpretation, and analysis
    • Experience with Finance Systems preferred (SAP, BW)

    • 5 – 7 years
