Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making.
• Oversee the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, quarterly reports, and annual audits.
• Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Monitor and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk.
• Establish and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to finance team members.

Qualifications:

• CA (SA) essential.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years senior finance manager experience.
• IFRS17 is essential.
• Financial services experience is essential.
• Proven track record of success in a financial leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage a team.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
