Senior Fire Engineer -Built Environment - Century City
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors , Masters
- Experience 5 years

What are we searching for to build a sustainable future?
- Attending to the full range of design aspects relating to rational fire designs
- Reviewing site, construction, sprinkler, fire alarm, and all other system plans to ensure that they conform to the applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
- Designing sprinkler systems, fire main installations, detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, and other fire protection components.
- Developing briefs seeking approval for code equivalency.
- Client Management (key)
Minimum requirements
- BSc/BEng, or MSc/Meng, or B.Tech /MTech in Engineering
- Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech would be highly advantageous
- Minimum of 5 or more years’ experience as a Fire Engineer / Technologist within an Engineering Consulting firm.
- Experience gained in a consulting environment working on MEP Building Services
- Great comprehension of BS EN, NFPA, and SANS Standards.
- Experience with CFD, Evacuation simulations and computational rational designs
