Managed People Solutions is looking to hire a Senior Floor Manager with extraordinary people skills for a very well-known restaurant based in Cape Town, Western Cape .
General Responsibilties
This person will oversee the entire front of house section and ensure that the entire section is running smoothly.
This person will also be in charge of other sections in the restaurant inclusive of the kitchen.
Responsible to conduct daily stock takes (and responsible for variances).
Responsible for the counting and receiving of stock in the restaurant.
Responsible for all liquor replenishment and ordering in the restaurant.
This person would be in charge of employee training and development in the restaurant.
Capturing of invoices.
Responsible for stock control (this person oversees & explaining stock losses).
Responsible for customer relations and dealing / handling complaints.
Responsible to draft and plan the Front of House shift roster to be submitted to the Operator for approval.
Ensures that all equipment in the bar is operation and where necessary report any malfunctioned equipment.
Requirements
Grade 12 Minimum
At least 5 years in a senior manager position in a restaurant
Must have PILOT POS experience, Computer Literate, and the ability to plan well
Have extraordinary people skills, energetic, driven, have passion for the restaurant industry, ability to perform under pressure.
