    Senior Front of House Manager – Upscale Dining (Iconic Stellenbosch Wine Estate)

    • We have a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned Senior Front of House Manager on an iconic, upscale Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. 
    • We are looking for an seasoned Senior Front of House Manager with at least 4-5 years senior Front of House or F&B Management role within a hotel, wine estate, fine dining or similar hospitality environment. Strong working knowledge of restaurant & events operations, including private dining and function management. 

    The Role

    • The role is responsible for the overall management and seamless delivery of the guest-facing experience across all front-of-house areas, including the restaurant, bar, events or host functions. This role requires a confident and experienced leader who can set standards, develop people, and drive both guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
    • Working closely with the General Manager, Head Chef, and relevant department heads, the role plays a pivotal role in shaping the guest journey from arrival to departure.

    Experience & Qualification

    • Grade 12 essential 
    • Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management preferred 
    • Wine qualification (WSET Level 2 or higher) advantageous
    • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a senior front-of-house or food and beverage management role within a hotel, wine estate, fine dining, or comparable hospitality environment
    • Proven track record of leading and developing multi-functional service teams
    • Demonstrated experience managing revenue performance and operational budgets
    • Strong working knowledge of restaurant and events operations, including private dining and function management
    • Solid understanding of South African labour legislation, including the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act.
    • Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and reservations management platforms
