    Senior Human Capital Consultant

    About The Role

    • As our newly appointed Senior Solution Architect , you will work closely with both the sales organisation and the professional services team. You will provide strategic guidance to SHL’s existing and prospective customers and partnering with sales and account managers to architect and develop the most appropriate solutions for customer opportunities that will increase client value and solve presenting talent needs. You will partner on these opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle to drive product and solution sales and revenue. In addition, you will provide I/O technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders, maximizing the learning and growth of sales staff in doing so.

    What does the role entail?

    • I-O Content Knowledge with a focus on talent acquisition and talent management.
    • Commercial Sales Acumen: You will be able to explore and diagnose client needs, shape and scope solutions that meet those needs, and actively participate in influencing and persuading client to a positive outcome
    • Pipeline Creation: In collaboration with Field Marketing – you will proactively engage in thought provoking activities to drive sales pipeline creation through Webinars, Tradeshows, Blogs, Podcasts, etc.
    • Client Relationship Management: You will assist existing client relationships by partnering with Account Managers to help clients define their talent needs in the talent management and talent acquisition space.
    • Partners with Center of Excellence Solutions Group/Solution Owners and subject matter experts, to find answers and to scope service efforts and associated costs.
    • Scoping PS Work: You will direct pre-sales efforts by partnering with the Professional Services head and commercial team on PS scoping requests for existing and new business; defines solution vision, presents proposal to clients, refines scope, and contributes to SOWs; joins commercial team members for clients’ presentations.
    • Knowledge of SHL Offerings/Products: You will demonstrate awareness across the breadth of SHL offerings, demonstrating deep expertise across the SHL Talent Acquisition and Talent Management offering.
    • Prepares enablement assets: This includes slides, scripts, demos, etc. with a focus on upskilling the Commercial and Professional Services teams on updates, enhancements, and research to further opportunities or create new cross-sell avenues.
    • Driving Continuous Improvement: Works with delivery and commercial teams to drive improvements in the scoping of projects. Drives improvements to deliver local presales assist in a consistent, high quality and efficient way (tools, templates, etc.).
    • Partnership is key, you’ll spend most of your time with the sales teams on client’s technical questions to help shape, scope and position solutions which address our clients’ obstacles. In addition, position and translate these technical concepts and information in ways easily understood and engaged with.
    • Proactively maintain professional networks, event attendance and social media to represent SHL, you’ll offer a compelling reason for clients to want to work with us and benefit from our solutions and services.
    • Represents client and market feedback internally to shape digital roadmap and partner with solutions group to shape collateral.

    About You

    • You will be a registered Industrial/Organisational Psychologist or Psychometrist
    • You will have proven work experience within the industry which ideally includes a high-level knowledge of SHL’s products and solutions as well as the typical talent obstacles organisations face.
    • You will have experience in business development and account management for talent management consulting projects, including defining a solution vision, proposing to clients, and writing SOWs
    • You will have experience delivering and managing large and/or complex client projects in several of the following areas: talent review; high potential identification and development; leadership selection and development, and competency modelling.
    • You will have experience in presenting and interacting with internal and external senior stakeholders with credibility and authority.
