    Brand Accountant - Johannesburg

    Key Performance Areas:

    Financial Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting:

    • Compile detailed budget per Campus per account after consultation with Management and detailed analysis of historical data
    • Assist and support Principals and Managers during the budget compilation process
    • Monitor and track performance and liaise with Principals in this regard
    • Conduct variance analysis and advise Principals and BFM accordingly
    • Undertake trend analysis, monthly highlighting areas of concern

    Financial/Management Accounting

    • Review of all recons prepared by JBA or FA
    • Handle queries from Campus and interacts with GSS to resolve them

    • Prepare reports accurately and timeously monthly, quarterly and annually

    Compliance

    • Ensure company financial policies and procedures are adhered to, at Campus and within Brand/Brands
    • Participate in the audit process (Internal and external) and provides relevant information and support to auditors as required. Deals with queries ,as necessary, and escalates matters when required
    • Carry out appropriate action to remedy audit findings and limit the risk
    • Provide Principals and relevant staff in Campus with required trained regarding financial policies and procedures
    • Sign off monthly audit files and ensure all month/year end journals are processed
    • Approve expenditure in line with authorisation matrix.
    • Ensure timeous submission of statutory returns for Brand/Brands

    Staff Management
