Senior Internal Auditor at Network Recruitment

Job & Company Description:

A large corporate within the financial services sector is recruiting for an ambitious, innovative, strategic thinking individual to join their growing team. You will be involved in planning, managing and executing activities within an Institutional and Retail Investment Management arena and reporting directly into the Head of Internal Audit.

Duties will Include but are not limited to:

• Full involvement in the audit lifecycle. This includes scoping and planning separate audit engagements, to carrying out detailed reviews and testing.
• Reporting,sharing findings with senior management and chasing management responses/tracking points through to closure.
• Documenting and reviewing business processes, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
• Developing pragmatic solutions and identifying best practice controls.
• Documenting detailed audit working papers and valid supported findings.
• Assisting in promoting risk awareness throughout the business

Skills & Experience

• CA(SA) / or CIA completed prerequisite
• 8 years’ experience in similar role
• Financial services or banking experience non negotiable
• Managerial experience is essential
