About the role

Are you ready to elevate your career as a Senior Information and Technology (IT) Auditor? Join our dynamic team where you'll take the lead in performing and overseeing crucial IT Audits, delving into the intricacies of risk based reviews.

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will help the organisation to secure its information and technology environment from internal and external threats by analysing their technology systems and infrastructure to achieve the information security principles of confidentiality, integrity and availability. You will be exposed to various types of assurance needs including IT General Controls, Applications Controls, Program & Project Assurance, Data Migration and Cyber Security reviews.

You will be responsible for planning and executing audit assurance engagements following a risk-based approach as well as providing advisory services to our key stakeholders on potential IT related controls issues, recommended process changes and corrective actions.

What you will bring

Minimum 4 years in an Internal Auditing environment with emphasis on a complex multi-platform IT environment, with specific experience in:

• General controls, application controls review
• Practical experience in identifying, designing and executing data analytics.
• Defining of control objectives to support business processes and the assessment of both system and manual controls which exist or are needed to meet the control objectives
• Practical experience using Cobit and other relevant best practice frameworks
• A relevant qualification in Internal Auditing or Information Technology
• Certification in Information Systems Auditing (CISA)

Ideally you also have

• At least 5 years’ experience in IT or Information security
• Planning and managing audit engagement
• Project management processes, methodologies, tools, controls and risks
• Banking and Insurance industry experience
• A relevant post graduate degree in Internal Auditing or Commerce
• Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
