Reporting to Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent will:
Development of the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
IT Infrastructure Management oversee the planning, Implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost effectiveness, monitor and control IT related expenses.
Cyber Security and compliance – develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data, information and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage IT support and Helpdesk.
Disaster Recovery and business continuity Management – Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
Implement and Manage systems for performance Monitoring and reporting.
Draft RFOs, RFPs
Monitor budget performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Implement and Manage knowledge management systems.
Develop and implement information security policies.
Establish business intelligence tools encompassing data mining, extraction, dissemination of information.
Provision of tools to manage applications.
Team Leadership and Development of IT team – provide resources in terms of application specialists, database administrators.
Innovation - Identify emerging technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential to enhance business processes, service delivery, and customer experience.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required). Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
Industry recognised certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNP, CISSP, and relevant vendor specific certifications. Extensive experience in leading and managing IT teams.
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software.
Demonstrate success in implementing innovative IT solutions.
