    Senior IT Manager (Permanent)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reporting to Chief Technical Officer, the incumbent will:
    • Development of the company’s IT strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
    • IT Infrastructure Management oversee the planning, Implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
    • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost effectiveness, monitor and control IT related expenses.
    • Cyber Security and compliance – develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to safeguard company data, information and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Manage IT support and Helpdesk.
    • Disaster Recovery and business continuity Management – Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
    • Implement and Manage systems for performance Monitoring and reporting.
    • Draft RFOs, RFPs
    • Monitor budget performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    • Implement and Manage knowledge management systems.
    • Develop and implement information security policies.
    • Establish business intelligence tools encompassing data mining, extraction, dissemination of information.
    • Provision of tools to manage applications.
    • Team Leadership and Development of IT team – provide resources in terms of application specialists, database administrators.
    • Innovation - Identify emerging technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential to enhance business processes, service delivery, and customer experience. 

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (required). Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
    • Industry recognised certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNP, CISSP, and relevant vendor specific certifications. Extensive experience in leading and managing IT teams.
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and software.
    • Demonstrate success in implementing innovative IT solutions.

    Product Development Engineer (Permanent)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reporting to the Chief Engineer the incumbent will:
    • Lead the end-to-end development of new fibre and wireless broadband products.
    • Design scalable and reliable broadband solutions for enterprise, wholesale, and residential customers.
    • Develop and improve product features based on customer needs and emerging technologies.
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept and prototyping to deployment and performance monitoring.
    • Continuously analyse product performance and implement upgrades to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee product testing, including lab and field trials, to ensure service reliability and performance standards.
    • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align product development with market demand.
    • Recommend strategic product development initiatives based on data analysis and market forecasts.
    • Work closely with network engineers, customer solution engineers and operations teams to integrate new products into the company's infrastructure.
    • Liaise with vendors and technology partners.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, user guides, and installation procedures.
    • Drive continuous improvement in the company’s product portfolio, focusing on efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction.

     Qualification and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development or engineering, ideally in a telecommunications or broadband company.
    • Strong background in fibre optic and wireless technologies, IP products, and networking protocols such as BGP, MPLS, IPv4/IPv6.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Experience with internet and broadband products, including SD-WAN, cloud services, and network security solutions.
    • Knowledge of core network design, IP backbone, fibre networks (DWDM and OTN), and wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, LTE, 5G).
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
