    Senior Kitroom Specialist – Port Elizabeth

    We are looking for a Senior Kitroom Representative to join our New Port Elizabeth branch.

    What you will do:

    • Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works throughout Kitroom operation for majority of scheduled shift
    • Displays versatility and flexibility on a regular basis within department
    • Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results
    • Actively participates in and leads production initiatives and process improvements
    • Collaboration with Leads, Kitroom Manager and RAQA to develop tools and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of Kitroom SOPs; acts as Subject Matter Expert in assigned area
    • Assist Team Lead/Manager with audit readiness programme, perform audit spot-checks regularly
    • Assists in training Kitroom Representative on departmental procedures and acts as signing authority for work completed by Kitroom Representative in training
    • Consistent participation in and contribution to a “champion” role
    • Collaboration with Team Lead/Manager to ensure all team members are adequately trained and maintain completed competencies both internal and cross-departmental procedures and ensure all team members are following Kitroom procedures and completing quality records accurately
    • Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns
    • Responsible for communicating instructions, planning and implementing process improvements, and initiatives in a positive manner
    • Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous  improvement, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction
    • Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance team's performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.

    • Works independently with little supervision
    • Demonstrates technical and team leadership, serves as role model for team members
    • Punctuality and Attendance: Follow attendance policy as outlined in our company handbook

    What you will need:

    • Matric or equivalent required with 65% or better average in related subjects & several years related work experience OR
    • Degree or equivalent with 65% or better average in related field & 1 year related work experience
    • Stryker Kitroom experience preferred
    • Stryker product portfolio & full Kitroom flow/procedure knowledge preferred
    • Proven experience with outside leadership or involvement in a Stryker champion role or similar
    • Fluency in English, spoken & written
    • Advanced communication skills to build relationships with internal customers
    • Advanced IT knowledge (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Internet)
    • Advanced ERP system knowledge preferred
    • Valid driving license
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Must have attention to detail
