    Senior Lawyer (Contract & Litigation)

    Lexdan Select is assisting a diversified Wealth Management company with their search for a Senior Lawyer (Contract & Litigation), based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

    Functions:

    • Draft and review various legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertaining to the various business units of the company
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with various legal requirements, such as data protection and privacy laws, labour laws, and industry-specific regulations
    • Managing and conducting Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation matters
    • Ensure detailed policies, procedures, procedure manuals, systems and controls are robust and implemented within the legal department

    Requirements:

    • Minimum B. Com LLB Degree
    • Admitted attorney or advocate of the High Court of South Africa
    • 5 - 10 years post articles experience specializing in commercial / contract law and litigation
    • Understanding corporate governance and knowledge of global best practice / trends within the regulatory, compliance and governance framework
