Senior Lecturer (P000960) (Re-Advertisement)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching and Learning
- Teaching assigned classes according to the NWU teaching and learning strategies, ensuring required throughput and achieving student-lecturer evaluation scores in accordance with the university’s expectations.
Research
- Research outputs as to be discussed with programme leader and deputy director.
Community Engagement
- Actively contribute to community engagement projects as part of the School of Accounting Sciences.
Minimum requirements
- A Master of Commerce in Accountancy or equivalent (NQF 9).
- A member of CIMA or SAIPA or ACCA or AGA(SA).
- 3 years’ experience in the field as an Accountant.
- 1 year’ experience in teaching Accountancy at a South African residential university.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Published articles in accredited journals.
- Experience with postgraduate supervision.
