- Our client is on the lookout for a Linux/SQL Database Administrator to take charge of database management, optimization, and security in a fast-paced environment. If you’re a database guru with a passion for Linux and SQL, this is your chance to make an impact!
Your responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL databases in a Linux environment.
- Ensure database performance, availability, and security.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
- Manage database integrations, replication, and clustering.
- Tune queries and optimize performance for seamless data processing.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator in a Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, optimization, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with backup and recovery strategies, clustering, and replication.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation for database maintenance.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field
- Linux Certification
