Job Description

• Step into a high‑impact role at the forefront of growth. This position is responsible for originating and winning new‑to‑bank Business & Commercial clients for Standard Bank, with a strong focus on structured transactions that drive Net Interest Income (NII) growth.
• You’ll operate as a trusted subject matter expert, partnering with clients on complex financing needs and providing leveraged acquisition finance (LAF) solutions where required. This is a role for a commercially astute deal‑maker who thrives on building relationships, structuring value‑adding solutions, and shaping sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Business Commerce

Experience

• 8–10 years’ experience in commercial banking or a comparable financial services environment
• Proven expertise in debt structuring and structured finance solutions
• Strong understanding of credit, compliance, policies, systems, and procedures
• Solid knowledge of industry sectors, including risk profiles and emerging trends
• Sound grasp of business and financial management principles, enabling you to balance growth with cost efficiency, risk management, and profitability
