Applicants must be in possession of a Senior Certificate, an HR-related Degree at NQF level 7 or equivalent qualification.
A Masters Degree in HR will be an added advantage.
At least 10 years extensive experience within a generalist HR environment, 3-4 years’ of which should have been at a supervisory or management level. Sound knowledge of HR legislation and the PFMA. Knowledge of the HR Payroll and Job Evaluation system.
A valid driver’s licence and preparedness to travel.

Key Performance Areas:
The successful incumbent will be expected to perform amongst others but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities: Provide support in the development of the Divisional Strategy and Business Plan, including HR plans. Manage the HR budget. Put in place HR policies, systems, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant HR legislation.
Ensure employee Capacity Building, advice employees on career opportunities. Develop talent management strategies. Implement the Employee Performance Management and Development System. Develop and manage the implementation of Employment Equity plan for PanSALB.
Ensure effective service delivery through utilisation of sound project management skills. Ensure the implementation of an employee relations strategy in line with overall PanSALB strategic objectives. Ensure the implementation of an annual collective bargaining / negotiation processes with organised labour and executive management. Represent PanSALB at all CCMA and Labour Court cases. Conduct disciplinary hearings. Ensure and manage the implementation of the Employee Wellness Programme and Occupational Health and Safety services.
Ensure that monthly management and annual reports are developed and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Conduct Job Evaluation. Ensure that proper processes are followed in recruitment and selection. Ensure effective administration of conditions of service. Ensure proper people management
