We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Main Market Clients to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving growth and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients in the main market segment.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our client base and increase market share in the main market segment
• Lead and mentor a team of client managers, ensuring high performance and professional development
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic matters
• Analyse market trends and client needs to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional client satisfaction
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and performance metrics to senior leadership
• Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences to enhance our market presence and thought leadership
• Drive innovation in client service delivery and internal processes to maintain a competitive edge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in client management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing high-value client accounts
• Extensive experience in the South African market and a deep understanding of the local business landscape
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive growth and profitability
• Excellent client relationship management abilities, including the capacity to build and maintain long-term partnerships
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Advanced financial analysis and reporting capabilities
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
• In-depth knowledge of South African financial markets and regulations
• Strong understanding of global market trends and their impact on local markets
