EXPERIENCE:
8 years Railway Operations or Safety Management experience in a big Operations / Production highly regulated environment of which at least 2 years must be at Managerial level
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs)
Develop and ensure implementation of internal controls for managing risks related to Safety Permit Application process, implementation and enforcement of the Corrective Actions and reporting and liaising with the Regulator on submission of documents.
Manage and Coordinate Interface between RSR and other railway operators, including interface’s between PRASA Divisions.
Prepare and research agenda items in preparation for meetings between the Nominated Manager and the RSR for the Liaison Committee, Safety Monitoring and CEO Quarterly Safety Review meetings.
Facilitate the internal audits of the SMS and the Annual Safety Improvement Plan (ASIP) actions and programs implementation to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the SMS as well as the level of compliance to the ASIP implementation.
Ensure that safety training at the regions is undertaken in terms of the training plan and capacity building interventions (aligned to Safety Management System requirement).
