Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Analysis at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide financial analysis, insights and reporting to support monitoring and management of strategic priorities. The role entails technical analysis of drivers of performance utilising past performance and data science to predict future performance. Conduct analysis of insights from competitors and how their performance compares to Wholesale Clients segment to draft conclusions (insights) and recommended actions to achieve the planned outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification Required

• CA (SA)
• Post Graduate Degree Finance and Accounting

Experience Required

• 8 -10 years Extensive knowledge and application of accounting standards, including latest International FRS standards, and reporting as it relates to business performance, trends and managing risk
• Financial services environment with an understanding of Commercial Banking products, budgeting, cost and revenue monitoring and forecasting.
• Financial modelling, automation and data cube technology to source and analyse financial data. Experience presenting insights reporting to senior stakeholders.
