Senior Onsite Technician – Middelburg at Cummins Inc.

We are looking for a talented SENIOR ONSITE SERVICE TECHNICIAN – MIDDELBURG to join our team specializing in SERVICE for our DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS SEGMENT in MIDDELBURG, MPUMALANGA, SOUTH AFRICA .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

• Communicates to ensure territories are well informed and regularly scheduled meetings across team/functions/customer groups.
• Investigates complex emerging issues as well as product or process issues in the field and delivers robust technical solutions.
• Completes troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop while coaching and developing less experienced technicians.
• Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of chassis and chassis components.
• Adheres to and ensures adherence of more junior technicians to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
• Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

To be successful in this role you will need the following :

• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution and Trade Test Certificate.
• Significant field service work experience (Minimum 5 years).
• Mining experience (preferred).
• Computer literate (word, excel & PowerPoint).
