Senior Operator (1 Year Contract)

An exhilarating opportunity has become available in the Service Engineering Production space for one of the leading financial services in Africa. This role will require an individual to be responsible in monitoring and operational support of the organization’s systems according the organizations command center.

Requirements:

• Accountability: Monitor systems availability
• Resolution of customer impact outages, operational functionality and optimization and to facilitate maximum system and application uptime
• Keeping management informed of any critical events
• Escalate all problems, where necessary to the Line Manager
• Make technical recommendation to support decisions made concerning the enhancement of the current technological platforms, through the approved development life-cycle framework
• Ensure adherence to software and hardware methodologies on all deployed solutions

Education and Experience Required

• National Diploma / Higher Certificate (ITIL Service Management) (NQF level no. 5)
• 5 years technical experience
