Senior Operator Production SR at Sibanye-Stillwater

Job Purpose:

• The OPERATOR PRODUCTION is responsible to perform general physical labour under supervision.

Minimum Required Qualification:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualification with Maths and Science.

The Appointee should:

• Medically fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable)

Additional Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience within a processing production environment will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tasks/duties Performed:  Performs a few simple repetitive tasks involving mostly manual effort, e.g. sweeping, digging, loading, etc.  Always works under supervision.  Duties may include the operation of simple equipment/machinery.  Engage in effective team work.  Report any safety related issues to the full time safety rep.  Participate in required meetings.  Work within applicable Safety, Regulations, the Act, Codes of practice and standards.
