Senior Planner - Mpumalanga at GIBB Engineering and Architecture

Core Purpose

KGA is currently recruiting for a Senior Planner with extensive multidisciplinary projects planning experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or similar sectors to provide support to our client in the execution of projects. 

The senior planner will be responsible for ensuring the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling. This includes:

• Coordinating with procurement and material managers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply. 
• Provides planning skills to priorities, for projects to guarantee completion. 
• Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and project delivery schedule review and updates processes

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Understand all aspects of projects and be able to coordinate and maximize efficiency.
• Thorough management knowledge, organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Interfacing and/or project planning/scheduling working experience with Sasol as an added advantage
• The ability to work with multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering with Planning/scheduling software training
• Extensive Primavera P6 knowledge

Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.
• Multidisciplinary project planning experience
• Working Experience with Sasol
