National Diploma in Water Care or equivalent OR Process Supervisor-Water purification with five years’ experience.
A valid Code B drivers’ license and the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 Test.
Seven Years combined experience in a plant, pumping, water purification as well as supervisory environment is essential.
Registered or eligible to register as a Class V Process Controller
Primary Duties
Raw water abstraction and to ensure that the flocculation, coagulation, disinfection and filtration processe comply with the Rand Water and SANS standards set.
Raw Water Abstraction by controlling water into Site via canal or intake pump Control of the water purification and distribution plant.
To ensure that the daily pumping orders are met.
Perform switching & plant lock outs as well as pipe line isolations.
Daily and monthly reports and statistics.
Supervision of staff and to ensure compliance with regards to occupational health and safety aspects.
