The purpose of the Senior Project Manager is to ensure the efficient management of projects throughout the organization.
The Individual will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Developing project programs.
Managing a portfolio of projects across the whole organization.
Managing and coordinating service providers.
Managing and monitoring all subsidy projects
Preparation of quality assurance programs.
Responsible for project scope, project planning, contract administration, risk and quality management.
Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Develop a full comprehensive registry of all housing projects under construction
Develop and monitor the risk register for all projects.
Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendation report in order to identify successful & unsuccessful project elements.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Manage the implementation of the Sanitation program.
Preparation of reports for EXCO and Council committees.
Assisting provincial customer care centers in preparation of budgets.
Preparation of cost estimates and cost reports, project budget and approve payment certificates.
Liaising with Departments of Human Settlements, extract professionals and stakeholders.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
