Senior Retoucher at Bash

We are looking for a talented Senior Retoucher who will be focused on high-end creative post-production. We are looking for an experienced digital artist/ retoucher who can thrive in this collaborative, fast-paced & deadline-driven environment, you will work with photographers (internally and externally) agencies, and brands directly to produce commercial imagery across all media formats

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Must work well solo and as part of a team while paying excellent attention to detail
• Support creative development by building composites to foster creative concepts or identify specific execution
• Must show excellent ability to retouch skin without compromising skin texture
• Adhere to file and server management procedures for all supplied and working files, including naming conventions, storage location, version control, and archive/restore management
• Participate in and oversee all published quality control measures and sign-off procedures for output, routing, and release
• Record accurately and promptly all labour and required comments in job management & time management
• Upload images to brand as required
• Resize supplied images and upload to brand as required

WHO YOU ARE:

This job is for you if you have:

• 5+ years of e-commerce retouching experience
• Must have expert experience with Adobe CC and Capture One, Photoshop, and Adobe software
• Must have a solid understanding of colour management for both print and digital applications and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• A solid understanding of anatomy and an illustration background will go a long way
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Maintain an attitude of unquestioned integrity
• Possess a high standard for on-time delivery of department projects
• Must have good visual, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Work overtime and weekends if/when needed
• Must be forward-thinking and anticipatory with the ability to make educated decisions quickly based on complete knowledge of company and business objectives

Skills you already have:

• Solid and polished retouching skills – keen eye and aesthetic
• Has a sharp eye for composition, crop, and colour correction skills.
• Have the ability to work collaboratively and deliver quality imagery
• Has strong knowledge of colour theory
• Be proactive and able to show initiative to foresee and resolve problems related to imagery
• Has proven ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
