Senior SAP MM & SD (P2P & Q2C Consultant) at Sanlam Group

What will you do?

• As a team player in the SGT SAP CoE team, you will be required to deliver system design, configuration and testing services relating to SAP S/4HANA Procurement (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD).
• You will be required to deliver expertise in support of business-as-usual system changes, for both standard and bespoke using the SAP S/4HANA Procurement solution, including the SAP Fiori applications.
• You will be required to act as subject matter expert on latest SAP development tools and provide expert technical advice to business analysts and business stakeholders in search of SAP system solutions.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Lead solution design, system configuration, testing, and delivery of best-in-class capabilities related to the Digital Core program supporting SAP S/4 HANA Procure to Pay (P2P) and Quote to Cash (Q2C); and Sales & Distribution (SD). 
• Design IT solutions for Enterprise supporting P2P, Q2C and SD business processes in alignment with the company’s strategic vision.
• Support the Business as Usual through the process of Jira incidents.
• Manages Business workshops and business interactions for SAP MM and SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solution adoption. E.G experience with KOFAX.
• Interacting with clients at all levels to understand the business requirements to prepare the functional specification, configuration, testing, migration, support and continuous enhancements.
• Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility.
• Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals.
• Interacts with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
• Have some latitude in decision-making acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Qualification

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems / Information Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
• SAP MM or SD certification is preferred, but not required should the candidate have sufficient experience in the MM domain.

Experience

• More than 8 years of experience as an SAP MM/SD Consultant with at least 2 end-to-end implementation projects and support experience.
• Experience in SAP Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
• Configuration Experience.
• Strong Background and hands on experience on SAP P2P, Q2C, Order management, SCM Products required.
• Proven ability to work in Business as Usual BAU “Run” environment.
• Working experience with Solution Manager, JIRA, Confluence.

Knowledge & skills

• SAP/4 HANA procurement skills, sourcing including good issuing and receipting principles.
• Q2C skills: Quotation Management, Contract Management, Sales Order Processing, Distribution, Billing and pricing management.
• Master data management skills in the Procurement area.
• Extensive knowledge of S/4 HANA P2P, Q2C and SD solutions.
• Proactive and the ability to work independently and against tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Master Data Governance (MDG) will be advantageous.
