Senior SAP Payroll / FI Integration Consultant at Salt South Africa

Role Overview

• Support and enhance the monthly SAP Payroll posting process from SAP ECC to SAP ERP (P2K), ensuring accurate integration between Payroll, Finance (FI), and Controlling (CO). The role includes functional analysis, configuration, testing, stakeholder engagement, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP Payroll posting to FI/CO.
• Configure and maintain payroll posting processes.
• Ensure accurate mapping of wage types, GL accounts, and cost centres.
• Investigate and resolve payroll posting issues.
• Gather business requirements and produce functional specifications.
• Execute SIT/UAT testing and support month-end payroll activities.
• Work closely with Payroll, Finance, HR, and technical teams.

Required Experience

• 5+ years’ SAP HCM Payroll Functional experience.
• Strong SAP FI/CO integration experience.
• Proven Payroll Posting to Accounting experience.
• SAP ECC experience (P2K/SAP ERP and S/4HANA exposure advantageous).
• Experience with month-end payroll processing and production support.
