Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science or a relevant field (Essential/Minimum)
• 8 years of experience in Information and Communication Technology, solution design, and delivery (Essential/Minimum)
• Experience in optimising business processes within a mining environment using technology (Essential/Minimum)
• Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Certification (Essential/Minimum)
• Zachman Framework Certification (Essential/Minimum)
• ITIL Foundation Certification (Recommended/Desirable)
• Azure Solutions Proficiency (Recommended/Desirable)
• COBIT 5 Foundation Certification (Recommended/Desirable)
• Strong capabilities in project life cycle management, architecture design, and lifecycle planning for systems
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills to foster effective client and stakeholder relationships
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Design, develop, and maintain the business process architecture to ensure alignment with business processes.
• Lead the conversion of business requirements into architectural designs, covering physical asset management, operational technology solutions, and ICT systems.
• Serve as a solution expert, offering guidance and facilitating decision-making throughout the design and delivery process.
• Collaborate with Information Management on technology and product trends to optimize ICT architecture and solutions.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system and process efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with IM governance standards, statutory and legal requirements, and analyse potential process or risk impacts.
• Build strategic partnerships and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships for cross-functional service delivery.
• Translate project requirements into architecture designs and validate solutions for quality, adherence to standards, and functional requirements.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment by complying with SHEC policies and encouraging a culture focused on safety.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that values creativity, agility, and accountability, meeting diverse organisational needs.
