Senior Stores Officer at University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To oversee and manage the Logistics Department’s Stores Services for the maintenance workshop, ensuring the supply of maintenance spares and other commodities as required by the Department of Facilities Management – Technical Services, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant National 3-year Diploma with at least 3 years relevant experience OR Grade 12 with at least 5 years relevant experience in:

• Management and supervision;
• Supplying and issuing stock;
• Materials and logistics management;
• Store administration, record keeping, and stock control.
• A valid driver’s license.

ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:

7 years’ experience in one or more of the following:

• Materials and Logistics Management,
• Provision of stock for maintenance workshops,
• Creating catalogue items in ERP systems,
• Safety training,
• Supervision/management of staff,
• Computerised stock control systems,
• Management of stores.
• Relevant Bachelor's degree.
