Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with over 10 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 5 years in a senior technical consulting or solutions engineering role. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Veeam Backup and Replication, VMware Virtualisation, and enterprise storage and compute solutions across HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Huawei, Rubrik, and ExaGrid environments. This role requires a strong technical leader with proven experience in mentoring and developing technical teams, delivering innovative infrastructure solutions, and providing strategic technical guidance aligned with business requirements.

Your Expertise:

• Function related experience: 10+ years in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a senior technical consulting or solutions engineering role.
• Leadership experience: Proven experience in leading teams or mentoring technical staff (formal or informal).
• Domain experience: Deep technical understanding and architectural experience in:
• Nutanix (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
• Veeam (Backup, Replication, and Availability)
• VMware (Virtualisation)
• Enterprise Storage and Compute (HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Huawei, Rubrik, ExaGrid)

Qualifications:

Qualification Essential Competency

• National Senior Certificate/ Senior Certificate/ Grade 12
• IT related Degree (BCom, BSc) or IT Diploma
• Nutanix: NCP (Nutanix Certified Professional) or NCM (Nutanix Certified Master)
• Veeam: VMCE (Veeam Certified Engineer) or VMCA (Veeam Certified Architect)
• English - Can converse and has the necessary email skills to be able to deal with relevant stakeholders
• Pass typical recruitment checks (criminal, qualification, ID verification checks, etc.)

Qualifications Preferred/Knowledge

• VMware: VCP or VCAP
• Relevant certifications in Enterprise Storage and Compute technologies.
