Senior Technical Support Engineer - It Industrial Automation Industry (Randburg) at MPRTC Recruitment

We are seeking a motivated and experienced technical support engineer with a background in industrial automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide innovative technical support, consulting, and troubleshooting services, ensuring the efficient delivery of products. This role requires a proactive approach to learning and a passion for staying updated with industry advancements.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in technical support and solutions within the industrial automation industry.
• National Diploma or BTech in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field) at NQF6/7 level.
• Relevant certifications: CompTIA A+, N+, S+; CCNA (Cisco) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA development.
• Understanding of PoE-based solutions, including IP Cameras and IP Phones.
• Experience with industrial protocols and some experience with Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
• RMA experience is advantageous.
• South African citizen with a valid ID, driver's license, and own car.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
